Matt Cheshire

Matt has worked in the entertainment and private aviation industry for the past 23 years in a variety of roles. Most of this time has been spent working for some of the world’s biggest music, sports and TV personalities providing them with quality services that are now mirrored in Artist Needs, the company Matt formed in 1999 after focusing his education on the music and broadcast industry.

In order to provide a comprehensive service to clients, Matt expanded the company into four different facets that form The Needs Group: specialists in artist services, private aviation, event furniture hire and VIP concierge services.

Matt is a very hands-on CEO and since expansion, has become an expert in the field of private aviation, flying clients all over the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Matt also has an extensive range of high-quality, sought after event furniture and provides a myriad of services to VIP clients on a daily basis.

In 2020, the company had to adapt to new scenario’s with the entertainment side of the company being unable to operate around the world as normal. Additional resources and focus were added to the private aviation side of the business to assist with demand and growth, which came with great success.

In 2019, the company looked after over 5,000 artists across 75 different events around the world, furniture travelled across the UK from festival to festival, and they organised over 1,500 chauffeured vehicles. Fixed Wing & Rotary aircraft charter continued around the globe with client focus and education on sustainability of the planet and offset of carbon.
