For over a quarter century, the live music industry’s Oscar equivalents have been handed out during ILMC. Normally a ticketed event, this year The Arthurs is throwing open its virtual doors for all delegates to attend on 4 March 2021.
Normally the Arthurs Award ceremony takes place in an exquisitely luxurious location in the heart of London and is attended by the cream of the live music and event industries. But in its quarter century-history, this year’s venue tops them all…
Despite being a virtual event in 2021, the Arthur Awards will live-stream from the most iconic venue in London – The Royal Albert Hall. Opened by Queen Victoria in 1871, this distinctive and much-venerated building – which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year – has played host to proms, ceremonies, orchestras, circuses, pop stars and rock bands.
The Arthurs 2021 will feature new categories, whilst some of our most popular category winners will line up to decide the Arthur of the Decade, and one special award winner will be determined on the night through a live online vote.
Fortunately, the ceremony is in safe hands, as cyber punktress extraordinaire, Emma Banks (CAA co-head and Bottle Award winner 2020), will host the event.
The Arthurs will be streamed live on 04/03/2021 @ 18:30-19:30. All ILMC 33 delegates are welcome to join.
The Arthur Awards 2021 is kindly sponsored by ASM Global.
Reflecting an unusual year, in this cyber edition, you decide which previous winners over the last decade get the ultimate nod with an Arthur of the Decade. Alongside the usual categories, we’ll be crowning our Unsung Hero of the year, Tour of the Decade, Tomorrow’s New Boss, and The Bottle Award, which recognises an outstanding contribution to the biz.
Voting for the Arthurs 2021 is now closed.
