Denise is a counsellor who grew up in the music industry and runs her own practice working with musicians, and recognising a great need for specialist services.

She works for the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), who provide specialist mental (and physical) health support to music and performance professionals through free clinics, training and peer support. In partnership with Help Musicians, BAPAM offers free counselling and psychotherapy to musicians through the Music Minds Matter scheme.
