Prof. Dr. Katja Ehrenberg

Katja is full professor at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany, where she enjoys teaching psychology and business psychology courses to B.Sc. and M.Sc. students.

Her research interests include stress, self-care and work-life-balance, as well as topics related to applied social psychology, such as communication & conflict in teams, diversity management, and measures that foster self-efficacy, creativity and flow.

As a fully trained systemic counsellor (SG-certified), Katja also offers workshops and coaching on these and similar issues for teams and organisations, as well as for private clients. She has provided scientific publications and talks on her research for over 20 years, and has co-authored two books on stress in the workplace, as well as the recently released Stay SOUND & CHECK Yourself which deals with stress and mental health in the live music, festival and event industry.

Loving alternative arts, music and culture, Katja has made contributions on the topic to YOUROPE’s GO Group conferences in 2016 and 2019, Nouvelle Prague and the European Festival Conference (EFC) in 2019, as well as in the latest ESNS.

She also volunteers at a small concert venue in Bonn.
