Jon is an experienced music industry journalist and consultant. He has been news editor of IQ, the leading news and content platform for the global concert business, since January 2016, and serves on the ILMC agenda team. In March 2019 he helped launch a new one-day event at ILMC for young professionals, Futures Forum.

He has spoken at events including Reeperbahn Festival, FastForward, the International Festival Forum, Venues Day, Granada Experience and Berklee College’s The Future of Music, and served on the judging panel for several industry awards, including Attitude is Everything’s Outstanding Attitude Awards and Hospital Club’s h.club 100 Awards.

Prior to joining IQ, he was deputy editor of pro-audio industry title PSNEurope, and has also written for the Spanish Live Music Yearbook (Anuario de la Música en Vivo), PSNLive, the European Arena Yearbook, the International Ticketing Yearbook, Shindig!, PopMatters and various Titan magazines and comics.
