John Talbot

Armed with a broad vantage point of both the live and recorded music industries, with a contacts book spanning the business, John joined digital POS developer Goodtill as their Music Partnerships Manager earlier this year, looking to work with musical and cultural venues, as well as festival clients who wish to diversify their hospitality experience and respond to the impact from Covid. 

John started his music career at Universal Music Group almost 15 years ago, where he became head of sales for Island Records Group, overseeing commercial campaigns for artists including Florence + the Machine, Disclosure and Amy Winehouse, across a myriad of partners such as Spotify, Apple and Amazon.  He subsequently joined Ticketmaster International’s Artist Services division in 2015 and helped deliver artist-focussed ticketing campaigns for the likes of Four Tet, Mumford & Sons and The 1975.

For many years, John has also been an independent artist manager and club events promoter.
