James is the divisional director at EC3 Entertainment. He joined EC3 in February 2020 and has previously worked in entertainment insurance and risk management since 1994, when he joined Aon Ruben.

Until December 2000 he managed the UK sports team at Aon Risk Services Ltd. He has worked as risk manager/broker on many international sport and entertainment events.

James founded the sports and entertainment broker, Long Reach International in 2002 and in 2012 formed the Entertainment Insurance Partners to acquire music specialist Robertson Taylor. Integro acquired Entertainment Insurance Partner in 2015.

James currently spearheads the ‘Let LIVE Thrive’ campaign to help provide the UK live events industry with an insurance solution for cancellation, due to Covid-19.
