Gerard Van Duykeren is the chief executive officer of TSCUHH, the parent company of TSC Crowd Management in The Netherlands and Showsec, United Kingdom. 

Van Duykeren has worked in the events security sector for over 40 years.

In close contact with the Ministry of Justice, the Dutch Security Examine Committee, and as the board of the Dutch Event Security Industry he wrote, developed and co-implemented a new education and licencing standard for the event security ndustry.

Van Duykeren is the initiator, creator and designer of the 1st minor education programme in Holland in the field of event safety: Event Crowd Management at Utrecht University.

He regularly lectures on crowd management and event security worldwide.

In close cooperation with the Ministry of General Affairs, Department of Risk Management & Disaster Policy, he provides training and consultancy for both public and private parties at Curacao.

He has put down some of his experience on paper and has written six books on crowd management topics.

He initiated and co-wrote the quality document, code of practice for events security (NEN NTA 8020-30)

For the Dutch Football Association, he rewrote and implemented a new stewarding program.

Van Duykeren is a board member of the Association of Event Makers (VVEM), the Dutch Event Security Association, the Security Examination Committee, and a strategic member of the Yourope Event Safety Group.

As an expert witness he was called several times in complex lawsuits linked to event security.
