Dr Paul Twomey is the CEO of Biosecurity Systems, an international leader in solutions for events, logistics and tourism infrastructure to reduce the infection risks to visitors and staff.

He has worked closely with the operations executives of arenas and airports to respond to COVID-19. Paul is a serial entrepreneur in the legal, cybersecurity, robotics and biosecurity sectors.

He has worked closely with the health, communications and cybersecurity units of ministries of multinational companies.

Paul is the former founding figure and CEO of ICANN, the global coordination body of the Internet.  Paul was CEO of the Australian Government’s National Office for the Information Economy and deputy head at the Australian Trade Commission. He was previously at McKinsey & Co.
