Anna is the communications and strategy director for Boomtown Fair, the UK’s largest fully independent festival.

Having worked within the festival industry since 2003, Anna has been involved with some of the most unique and well-established festivals in the UK. She has been at the forefront of some high-level industry-wide campaigns focussing on sustainability and harm reduction, often as co-creator and spokesperson, and has spoken at conferences across the UK and Europe.

More recently Anna was invited to represent the festival industry by giving evidence at the DCMS Select Committee into the ‘Future of UK Festivals’ on 5th January 2021, where she spoke passionately about the specific support required from the government to help the festival industry through this incredibly difficult era. These measures included a government-backed insurance scheme, among other sector-specific financial support packages.
